How does Ovex suspension relieve the symptoms of threadworm?
Ovex suspension treats threadworm by containing the active ingredient mebendazole. Mebendazole belongs to a group of medicines called anthelmintics.
The active ingredient works by preventing the worms from absorbing glucose which they need to survive in your intestines.
Threadworm is sometimes called pinworm and can affect both adults and children. One of the main symptoms of threadworms is an itchy bottom (around the anus or the vagina) at night. Young children can seem irritated and wake up more often during the night.
