The active ingredients in this syrup medicine are guaifenesin and levomenthol. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which promotes the release of sputum (a mixture of saliva and mucus) to help break down the blockage. Levomenthol eases congestion in the nose, which helps you to breathe more easily.
