What are haemorrhoids or piles?

Anodesyn ointment contains two active ingredients which work together to treat haemorrhoids or piles. The first ingredient it lidocaine, a local anaesthetic which helps to relieve pain in the affected area. The second active ingredient is allantoin, which helps your haemorrhoids to heal.
How to use Anodesyn ointment.
Wash your hands before and after using Anodesyn ointment. Wash the affected area with tepid water and dry gently. Apply the ointment to the affected area with your finger, gauze, or lint. Reapply whenever needed, but if your symptoms have not improved after using Anodesyn ointment for 7 days, make sure to see your doctor.
When should Anodesyn ointment not be used?
Anodesyn ointment is not suitable for use by children under the age of 12. Anodesyn ointment is for external use only, if you accidentally swallow some of this product seek medical assistance straight away. Do not use Anodesyn ointment if you are allergic to wool fat or any of the other listed ingredients. Speak to your doctor before using Anodesyn ointment if you have:
- Persistent pain or bleeding from your anus.
- A swollen stomach.
- Are losing weight.
